Grotowski and Peter Brook are seminal influences on the drama of our school. Our theatre is "poor", "holy" and "rough". We focus on what the performer can create with NO help from technology or elaborate sets and costumes.
This trains the students to become self-reliant and work with their physicality and their voices.
We are converting the parking space into an open-air theatre. This is an exciting space to use as it can become just about anything.
Class 11 have performed "Romeo and Juliet" in this space and at the end of November Class 10 and 8 will be rocking the village with "King Lear"
